For this project, I redesigned the logo for ysabai media as part of a complete brand refresh. ysabai media explores the world of Thai BL (Boys' Love) culture from industry production and actor interviews to academic discussion and fandom insights. The aim was to create an identity that reflects the platform's growth from an interview-focused YouTube channel into a multimedia brand covering podcasts, events, and industry content.
I began by researching competition and then experimenting with different visual directions to find a balance between professionalism and personality. One of the main design challenges was creating a logo that feels welcoming and inclusive while keeping the overall design clean, timeless, and easy to recognize across different formats.
The result is a logo that reflects a professional yet creative identity while retaining the warm, inclusive feel of the original brand.
